CurbSmart combats COVID-19

In 2017, when we developed the CurbSmart app, our goal was to eliminate the chaotic daily routine of after-school dismissal, improving student safety and saving parents and staff time. We had no idea how much more important this software would be for schools and families just a few years later.

Today, keeping school staff, students and families, and our communities safe requires social distancing along with new practices like face masks. All the usual methods of corralling and releasing students don’t comply with new guidelines, but CurbSmart makes it easy for staff to release students right from their desk as their ride arrives, so there is no waiting and no exposure for staff and students.

Like everyone, we are eager to have an effective COVID-19 vaccine so we can all return to normal, but we’re glad that we are able to offer a simple and effective solution for schools to release students home safely and quickly.
